Brian's Story

This is Brian’s Story in his own words…

I was very young when my father abandoned my mother, younger brother, and me. Having no way to support us, my mother left us, too. Different people took us in until we got older, and then we had to survive on our own on the streets as orphans.

A few years ago, I met Maddo Owino, who is a Sales Director for Tiens, a food supplement company.  She saw potential in me and brought me in as a member of her sales team.  I have done very well in this position, and when John Morgan of People Prosper conducted a training workshop, she encouraged me to attend.

I am now a Certified PPI Trainer and have started teaching the course in Kenya in Kisumu and Mombasa.  Maddo and I also recently partnered together to start a vegetable farm, and our first crop of sweet potatoes are ready to sell. From the profits, we are going to expand the business, and I am also saving money to purchase a home.
My long-term goals are to have one of the largest agriculture businesses in East Africa and to empower unemployed youth with the PPI wealth creation principles.

I am thankful to John Morgan for bringing Create Own Grow to Kenya and making it possible for an orphan to succeed in spite of life-long challenges and obstacles.
